Profile

The Sample small group consists of a wide variety of families. We are mostly in our 30s and 40s with children ranging from 5 to 23. We meet on Sundays after church and have lunch with each other at rotating houses (although always in the general vicinity of Wake Forest/Youngsville). The family that is hosting us for the week provides the main dish and others bring sides and such. We then have a study time that either follows along with the sermons or with a separate bible study from one of the studies available. We enjoy fellowship, support, study, accountability, and breaking bread together. If you wish to test your wings at leading, we like to give folks an opportunity to do just that so we can multiply the small group ministry here at Northwake.

Profile

Our Small Group is made up primarily of couples in their 20s & 30s. We really look forward to meeting on Sunday nights to get into the Word of God based on the teachings from the Sunday prior to Small Group. We currently have children between the ages of 0-2 years old, but are expecting newborns as well as welcoming any age children. We have a different couple that does childcare in a separate room each week with the kids. We spend the first hour discussing how we can better live out what was taught in church through the Scriptures, then we break up between men & women for accountability. We keep up with each other throughout the week by way of accountability partners. Being a Sunday night Small Group, we will also join with the North Wake congregation in Prayer once a month, and Baptisms and other events when these are on Sunday nights. We also enjoy just being social, having fun, experiencing fellowship, and helping each other live life for Jesus (we love to eat together)! We'd love to see you on Sunday night!

The Lassetter/Lytle small group meets on Sunday nights. We are currently composed of 20-30 year olds, children from new born to preschool age, married and singles, young professionals and students.  Since our families and singles are spread out between North Raleigh and Youngsville, we move our meeting location each month so no one member always has to make the long drive to small group. Each week we take time to go back through the sermon, engage Scripture, and discuss how it can be applied in our lives. We also take time (separately as guys/girls) for accountability and praying for one another. Our goal is to be an integral part of each other’s lives.  We want to do life together and glorify God.

Our small group is made up of young married couples in our twenties. We are a close knit group who is always happy to welcome newcomers. The children in the group range from newborn to three years old. Each couple roatates weeks to bring snack and keep the children. We start each night with a time to study the Word together and then split up guys and girls for the second half so we can have deeper accountability. We love to study how we, as young couples, can best model and share Christ in today's world. After accountability we love to hang out, eat, and catch up as we grow closer as a small group.

The Mason Small Group likes to party and have a good time! So … B.Y.O.B. … BRING YOUR OWN BIBLE!!! We live out in hick town, away from neighbors that would want to call the cops on us!  We meet at Matt & Jerri-Anne Joyner’s house on Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 8:30. Childcare is at our home (we literally live side-by-side). Our night starts out studying the Scriptures together. Then we split the guys and girls up for a time of prayer and accountability. Afterwards, we meet together for fellowship and snacks. Since most of us have kids ranging from ages 3-15, we are kid friendly. So if you like to have fun while you grow in your walk with your Savior, we are the group for you!

The Watts small group meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30. Valuing life in gospel community that helps us to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, we spend our time in prayer, study and discussion of the week's sermon, and accountability with women and men's groups. We periodically take a break from the norm to spend an evening serving our church and community or to simply spend time in fellowship over a meal together. Group members are singles and young married couples, but any and all are welcome to come and visit with our group!

Our small group is made up mostly of families with elementary school-aged children. We have a few preschoolers as well, whom we take turns caring for during our study time. We meet at 6:00pm for dessert and fellowship, and begin Bible study at 6:30pm. During our time together, we discuss the previous Sunday's sermon and focus on the practical applications of God's Word. School-aged children are encouraged to participate in group time with parents. After our discussion time, we divide into men, women, and children accountability groups. Couples take turns leading the children's accountability time. Because we meet on a school night, we end our evenings at 8:00pm.

Titus 2 shows how God encourages people of all ages to live life together in harmony and fellowship. Similarly, our small group is truly multi-generational! We range from young singles (20's) to married-with-children (30's-40's) to those who's children have already flown from the nest. We value modeling real biblical fellowship in all its facets for the youngest among us. This means that most weeks, our bible study time includes the school aged children. After a prayer time with the kids, we alternate men's prayer and accountability one week with ladies' the next. Yummy snacks and fresh ground & brewed coffee are a mainstay each week. If you need the love and fellowship of a small group perhaps more than another deep bible study, then ours may be the place for you.

Our small group has several married couples in their 20’s to mid 30’s. Some of our deepest desires are to glorify God, have true fellowship, challenge each other, bear each other’s burdens, grow together, experience the Spirit, and share God’s love with the lost. We all meet together the second and fourth week of the month. The first week, guys have accountability and girls watch the kids and spend time growing to know each other better. The third week, the girls have accountability and guys watch the kids and spend time growing to know each other better. We love to involve children in our singing and Bible study time. When needed, there is a play area for children to play in that allows for close supervision without the need for childcare. We would love to have any stage of life join in our group, as each stage brings different insights and challenges to all our lives.

We have ages from 23 to 41 with mostly married couples with at least one child.  We like to have fun and enjoy laughter as we learn about God's word and His plan for our lives.  We start with a snack get together at 6:30 and a discussion after that.  Accountability (split:  men in one room and women in another) is usually last, though not always, and is the time where we really get to know one another and can admit our faults and seek help from God and the others in the group.

We are a small group consisting mostly of families with elementary aged children, but we welcome the diversity of both older families and singles. We long to build a greater passion for Jesus Christ and His gospel, and we believe that cannot happen apart from community. We seek to accomplish that purpose by coming together for a time Bible study and a time men’s and women’s accountability. Also, every few weeks we set the evening specifically for the men or women to have fellowship together. A snack and childcare is provided by the group members according to a rotating schedule.

The Kohout small group is made up of primarily young couples in their mid to late 20's. Many of the couples are just beginning their journey into parenthood and are growing the small group quickly. The small group is dedicated to growing together in Christ by studying, accountability, and fellowship. Our study time begins at 7:00 p.m. where we normally go through Sunday's message or discuss a book that we've decided to read through together. Our purpose in study is to relate the principles set in scripture to our everyday- real-life situations. Accountability is done with a ladies group and a mens group. Our purpose in accountability is to be vulnerable with each other so that we can share and encourage others in our struggles. We also use this time to ask for advice and to guide each other in decision making. Fellowship is a critical element of small group. Most nights after small group, families stick around to eat, laugh, and enjoy each other's company. We also get together frequently just to eat out, watch movies or just "hang out".

Our small group is comprised of married couples ranging in age from mid-20's to late 30's with children from birth to teenagers and single adults, both seminary and non-seminary students, all in their mid to late 20's.  We meet on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:30ish.  We typically have informal fellowship as we show up and get our children settled in from 6:30 to 7:00.  We start our study time at 7:00.  Our study is guided by questions based on further exploring Sunday's sermon and applying it's truths.  Around 8:00 we transition from the time of study to a time of accountability where the men and women go to separate rooms to be more specific about personal application and accountability.  We also use this time to share requests and pray for one another.  We come back together with men, women, and children for a light snack (usually something chocolate) around 8:30 and some more informal fellowship.  Contact Greg Bowers for this weeks location at gregb@northwake.com.

We meet in North Raleigh, and our families range from mid 20s to late 40s (but all ages are welcome), and the children range from toddlers to young teens.  While we meet weekly to study, we're very much involved in each other's lives throughout the week and have a lot of fun together.  We start with prayer and then discuss whatever we're studying.  The last 20 - 30 minutes are for accountability (men and women split up).  We're considering other opportunities to reach out to our community and love the lost and poor as Jesus commanded us to do.  We'd love to have you visit us.

The Popovich Small Group is comprised of mostly men and women in their 20’s.  We’re a combination of singles, couples, families, students and working professionals, who truly desire authentic biblical community.  We meet as a group on Thursday nights from 7:00pm to 9:00pm to discuss what Sunday’s sermon means for our lives.  For the first hour we’ll draw out points of application from the sermon and for the second hour we’ll split into gender-specific groups where we can share our burdens & praises with one another and receive accountability & encouragement.  It’s our hope that Small Group is much more than what we just do on Thursday nights, but rather it’s viewed as the context in which we faithfully serve Christ throughout the week.
