The ESL (English as a Second Language) ministry is a ministry that helps speakers of other languages practice and learn English. Our goal is to serve the people in our community and show them the love of Christ by meeting one of their greatest needs, the ability to communicate. We currently meet once a week, every Tuesday night from 7-8pm in building 6. Right now we are able to offer 3 levels of classes: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. All of our teachers are trained in ESL. We mainly focus on speaking, pronunciation and reading in the classes which varies depending on the class.
Classes are $10 a month (4 weeks) and registration is always open. All materials are provided in the class. Childcare is provided.
We are always looking for people to serve as well as new students! We can provide basic training for those that would like to get involved in teaching. Even if you don't want to teach, we can use you!
