Entermissions 2012
Dear North Wake Family,
Planning has begun for Entermissions 2012, our annual missions conference! Conference dates this year are February 17th-19th. Our hope for Entermissions is that God would stir within us all a greater passion for praying for the Gospel to go forth, for giving of our time and resources, and for even going out to help spread the Good News to the ends of the earth. Since the beginning of North Wake Church, one of our core values has been to teach and model the love of Christ to our neighbors, from our own community here in Wake Forest, to the ends of the earth. Our vision is that God would use us in a strategic way to spread the fame of His name to the farthest reaches of the globe. God has allowed us the privilege of partnering with 31 different families and individuals serving in the US and around the world.
Far Flung Families

All weekend long you'll be able to explore and learn more about the 31 North Wake members who serve culturally around the world. Each of their GateKeepers will have displays set up to provide information about the culture our families serve and the work that goes on sharing the Gospel in their country.
Prayer for the Nations
It all begins on Friday, Feb. 17th at 1pm with our 48 Hour Entermissions prayer vigil. We’ll be covering the entire conference with continuous prayer Friday through Sunday. Even our international families will be taking part.
On Friday evening we’ll be hosting the Prayer for the Nations as the entire church comes together for an evening of intercession on behalf of our Far Flung Families serving around the world. Following the prayer time your invited to Skype Night (8:45pm until 10pm). From the North Wake campus we'll be connec-ting and talking live via Skype to 5-6 of our far flung families in their homes around the world.
International Dinner and Auction for the Nations
Saturday night at 5pm We’ll be hosting our International Dinner with foods from around the world. Come enjoy the sights, the sounds and the smells of the bazaar. At 5pm we'll begin our “Auction for the Nations” which offers us a chance to support mission projects worldwide.
We'll have a silent auction of goods and services donated by the people of North Wake and from people and businesses in our community. All funds go to support the spread of the gospel around the world. We'll follow that with a "loud" auction of some great items as well as some missions projects offered from our North Wake Far Flung Families. The last three years we have seen some amazing gifts funded.
•A well in Indonesia
•Mosquito nets for Kenya
•Gospel video-players for China
•Birthing centers in Papua New Guinea
•10,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now
This year’s auction will be just as big with new projects and new offerings to support and bid on. START SAVING YOUR MONEY NOW!
During our Sunday morning services (9am & 10:45am) we're privileged to have our very own Anthony Vahala here to speak. Anthony and his family are currently in preparation for departure to the Czech Republic as church-planters. We’ll also be collecting our North Wake Missions Offering which serves to help support the Lottie Moon International Missions Offering. One hundred percent of this offering goes to pay the salaries of our Far Flung families serving overseas. During the Sunday morning
services our children and youth ministry will once again be doing a food assembly of 10,000 meals for Stop Hunger Now. It should be a great time.
